The Himalayan Fair was rained out in 2019. The spring 2020 fair was postponed due to COVID concerns until October 2020, and then postponed again until October 2021. The rise of the Delta variant in the midst of high vaccine hesitancy due to politics and conspiracy theories have forced yet another postponement. It is hoped that the fair will be able to resume in 2022.
